What is The Madhappy Foundation?Updated 3 months ago

Madhappy is committed to the advancement of mental health initiatives across multiple platforms and organizations. Madhappy established The Madhappy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to bring attention and focus to a diverse array of organizations, institutions, and groups dedicated to enhancing mental health.

Madhappy and The Madhappy Foundation contribute 1% of Madhappy’s net sales* toward the advancement of mental health.

We partner with a portfolio of groups dedicated to mental health improvement. Our partnerships include, but are not limited to, The Jed Foundation, Child Mind Institute, The Loveland Foundation, Born This Way Foundation, Uncommon Good, The Boris L. Henson Foundation, and Sad Girls Club.

The Madhappy Foundation allocates a portion of funds towards accredited academic institutions conducting vital mental health research. Notably, Madhappy and The Madhappy Foundation have partnered with The University of Pennsylvania’s Positive Psychology Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center on long-term research grants that aim to tackle deep-rooted mental health concerns as it relates to global improvement.

On a collaborative front, Madhappy and The Madhappy Foundation are forging a robust ecosystem of free resources facilitating understanding and conversations around mental health.

Through The Local Optimist, Madhappy publishes a biannual print magazine with a central focus on community and mindful conversations that engage a spectrum of artists, writers and creatives.

The Madhappy Podcast fosters a series of conversations on mental health, featuring a wide range of distinguished creators, artists, athletes, & professionals. The show advances our mission of furthering the mental health conversation by creating transparency and open dialogue with people from various backgrounds.

Madhappy and The Madhappy Foundation also work to utilize our apparel manufacturing capabilities to donate products to organizations in need on an ongoing basis.

During pivotal moments like Mental Health Awareness Month & World Mental Health Day, Madhappy curates powerful billboards sharing positivity & optimism with our audience in major markets.

Most recently, for World Mental Health Day 2024, Madhappy partnered with creator Nailea Devora to co-release an apparel capsule benefitting The Jed Foundation. Madhappy and Nailea co-created content and shared content featuring the product, and co-launched a custom barista drink at Pantry, a café inside of our West Hollywood flagship, on 10/10 available throughout October.

As Madhappy continues to expand, we look forward to deepening our commitment to normalize the mental health conversation and those grappling with mental health challenges across all spheres of life.
