Is Madhappy a sustainable brand?Updated 2 years ago

While apparel as a whole isn’t inherently sustainable, we are doing everything we can to responsibly make all of our products and all our organic cottons and dyes are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

How Do We Do This?

  • Reducing our emissions by having a compact, primarily LA-based supply chain
  • Increasing use of higher quality organic fabrics across our core line
  • Working with dye houses with GOTS certification, following stringent dye processes and singular laundering of our fabric
  • Optimizing garment quality and construction to minimize our fallout and for increased life of the garments
  • Donating imperfect garments to charity to minimize waste
  • Carbon offsets for all domestic shipments

We believe we are creating high quality garments that are made to last a lifetime.

What's Our Plan Going Forward?

  • Setting strict fiber standards across all of our products
  • Introducing recycled fabrics in our core line
  • Setting strict standards for all of our factories
  • Creating a way to up-cycle old Madhappy products
  • Madhappy will be a carbon neutral brand by 2025
